1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or purchasing products or services from Simple Automations (“we”, “our”, “us”), operated by 1st Line Digital Pty Ltd, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase our products or services.

2. Our Products and Services

Simple Automations provides practical automation and technology services for businesses. Our products and services may include:

  • Business automation consulting
  • Automation design and implementation
  • Custom automation workflows
  • Automation templates and resources
  • Digital guides and downloadable products
  • Integration of third-party applications and services
  • AI-assisted business processes and workflows
  • Ongoing automation support and maintenance

The exact services, deliverables, pricing and project requirements may vary between customers and may be set out in a separate proposal, quotation, statement of work or service agreement.

3. Automation Services

We will use reasonable care and skill when designing and implementing automation solutions.

Automation solutions may depend on third-party software, applications, APIs, integrations, hosting providers, artificial intelligence services or other technologies that are outside our direct control.

We do not guarantee that a third-party platform or service will remain available, unchanged or compatible with an automation indefinitely.

Where a third-party service changes its API, functionality, pricing, access requirements or terms of service, additional work may be required to modify an existing automation.

4. Custom Projects

Custom automation projects may involve planning, configuration, development, testing, implementation and documentation.

Project scope, deliverables, fees, timelines and other requirements may be agreed separately with the customer.

Requests that fall outside the agreed project scope may incur additional charges. Where reasonably practicable, we will advise the customer before undertaking significant additional work.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and reasonable access to the systems, accounts and services required to complete an automation project.

Customers are also responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project requirements and information
  • Maintaining active accounts and subscriptions for third-party services they use
  • Providing required permissions and access in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that their use of third-party services complies with those services’ terms
  • Reviewing and approving automation workflows before they are placed into production where approval is requested
  • Using automation solutions lawfully and responsibly
  • Maintaining appropriate backups of important business information

6. Third-Party Services

Our automation solutions may use third-party platforms such as automation platforms, accounting systems, customer relationship management systems, email services, cloud storage providers, artificial intelligence services and other software.

These services are provided by independent third parties and are subject to their own terms, conditions, privacy policies and service availability.

Simple Automations is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, feature changes, account restrictions, API changes or other failures caused by third-party providers.

Where a third-party service is required for an automation to operate, the customer may be responsible for maintaining the relevant subscription or account.

7. Artificial Intelligence

Some automation solutions may incorporate artificial intelligence or machine learning services.

AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, complete or appropriate for every situation. Customers remain responsible for reviewing important outputs and decisions before relying on them where appropriate.

Simple Automations does not guarantee that AI-generated information will be error-free or suitable for a particular business decision.

8. Digital Products

Digital products, including guides, templates, resources and other downloadable materials, are supplied electronically.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have compatible devices, software and internet access required to access digital products.

Digital products may not be copied, resold, redistributed or commercially reproduced without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All original website content, branding, graphics, guides, templates, documentation, methodologies and other intellectual property created by Simple Automations remain the property of 1st Line Digital Pty Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Ownership and permitted use of work specifically developed for a customer will be determined by the applicable project agreement or service terms.

Customer-owned information, data, content, accounts and intellectual property remain the property of the customer or their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Simple Automations’ pre-existing intellectual property, reusable components, templates, methodologies, tools or know-how unless expressly agreed in writing.

10. Fees and Payment

Prices for our products and services will be displayed on the website, provided in a quotation or agreed with the customer before work commences.

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices and other amounts payable to Simple Automations must be paid by the due date specified on the applicable invoice or payment request.

We reserve the right to suspend or delay services where amounts remain unpaid.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy and, where applicable, the terms of an individual project or service agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Automations will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, products or services.

This may include loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of data, business interruption or losses arising from the failure or unavailability of third-party services.

We do not guarantee that an automation will operate continuously or without interruption, particularly where its operation depends on third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Australian law.

13. Data and Information

Where we access or process information on behalf of a customer as part of providing automation services, we will handle that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable service or project agreement.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis to provide information to an automation or third-party service.

14. Security and Access

We will take reasonable steps to protect credentials, information and access provided to us for the purpose of delivering our services.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts and credentials and should not provide unnecessary access to systems or information.

Where possible, access should be provided using appropriate user permissions rather than sharing personal passwords.

15. Website Information

We aim to keep the information published on this website accurate and current. However, information about software, platforms, integrations, features and third-party services may change over time.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be considered a guarantee that a particular automation or integration will be suitable for every business or technical environment.

16. Availability and Technical Issues

We aim to maintain reasonable availability of our website and services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting issues, software updates, security measures, technical failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including significant technology outages, third-party service failures, telecommunications failures, natural disasters, government actions, cyber incidents or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or anticipated.

18. Privacy

Use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or legal obligations.

The latest version published on this website will apply to use of the website and purchases made after the effective date of the updated Terms.
